The most successful Bulgarian team CSKA (Sofia) won its record 31st league title. The celebrations took place during the derby against the cross-town rivals Levski. The 1-1 draw leave CSKA 13 points clear at top of the table.The title is extra valuable, because it comes in the year when the team celebrates its 60th anniversary.

CSKA Sofia has won 31 Bulgarian League titles, and 23 National cups. Its achievement of winning the league titles in nine consecutive years (1954-1962) is a record for Europe. The club also has the greatest number of national titles in the world after the Second World War. It holds the greatest achievements of all Bulgarian football clubs in the European tournaments - two semi-finals in UEFA Champions League (1967 and 1982), and one semi-final in UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup (1989).
